It's possible to hide unnecessary view. But I know that by some unknown for me way it's possible to delete section view and cutting lines remain.
Simple delete the view and uncheck this option and only section view would be deleted.
Also you do not need to create the section view but can create the section line. Simple draw the desired line in the view and convert it to section view line.
why would someone need that? what's the point of cutting/section line if there's no section view with it? can I get and example (just don't see where would that be used).
More often case - there are many places in detail / assembly which has the same section and they need one section drawing view.
But in current case it's needed to cross assembly to show alternate positions.
But my SW-2016 says that it can't add alternate positions to section view
and can't do broken-out section with view with alternate positions too.
Instead I create "Model View" and hide unnecessary details.
But it's need to do cutting lines - to show place where fictive section is.
Thank you very mach!
I will follow second advice. That reduce one step of actions - deleting unnecessary view.
And I know about "Confirm delete" window, but it sometimes appears BUT sometimes DOESN'T ! ! !
One more thanks.
