Hi to everyone
I have a question
Is possible to put any appearance in a design table ?
And if yes how can i do it
Thank you for your time
You can do this through the use of DISPLAY STATES.
If you have multiple configurations of your part, you can LINK the display states to configurations. That way you can have different appearances active for each configuration. Change the configuration in the Design Table and the appearance will change.
If you have only one configuration. You can add additional display states to that configuration (not linked). I believe you can choose a specific Display State from a Design Table... not sure.
While in the Configurations tab, look at the bottom left of the screen for the Display States.
The easiest way to answer "Will this go into a Design Table?" is to manually make at least two different configurations where they are different in the way you want to control with a DT. Then insert a DT and let SWX automatically populate it. It will add anything that is different between the configurations that it can control.
Can you tell me the name of the appearance parameter so to use it into the design table?
What appearance are you trying to change? You can easily change the color and material between configurations.
I have tried your suggestion and i found it very handy Thank you very much for your opinion
