Are origin/destination arrows used to go only from one sheet to the next, or can they be used to go from a Mixed Scheme System Layout to a Wiring Diagram?
I know of a trick to do this, but, what are you actually trying to do?
What is the goal of this?
My electrical/wiring diagrams are usually not more than 1 page - and my other pages, always link in - the standard user isn't intimately involved with electrical, so I figured it would be more user friendly to link my mixed scheme/system layout with my wiring diagram. ...but if your work-around/fix isn't worth it, I can always make a symbol, and cut/paste it in where applicable.
Thanks! (is your fix worth it?)
You keep saying wiring diagram. No such thing in this software. Are you referring to single line diagrams? If so, then no.
I actually use schematic diagrams for system layouts, at least when it comes network diagrams, etc. It just works easier to get more details in. I'd really have to see what you are trying to do in order to help.
Yes. We don't use the software 100% the way it was intended. Our 'wiring diagram' is used for single line diagrams. I've figured a work-around, however I'd be interested in any critique you may be available to provide. (I bet we don't use half of what SolidWorks Electrical can provide. [some sarcasm])
