While I was making a digital model of a concept, I wanted to add a thread to see how it would work because I've never used the tool before. Prior to this, I downloaded the 2018/19 version of Solidworks. Upon clicking on the thread icon, it pops up with a message saying that the folder named "thread profiles" is missing. I tired looking in folders and my current downloads to see if it is available as well as searching it in the OS folder but to no prevail. Does anyone know what may be wrong with my Solidworks or is it something with how I downloaded/installed it?
Well it clearly shows it's looking for the 2017 path. Did you uninstall the previous version? Navigate to the correct versions folder and specify it in the System Options - File locations.
