Make the wind-speed time dependent by using a function.
Thank you Janko Stellaard, This seems like a good idea!
I tried to do that, but I can't find where to define the time period. I defined the wind speed to change in X and Y direction using a 3d vector with time dependency, so that it should go 360 second for 360 degrees but the analysis keeps ending after 0.4 seconds.
I tried defining the calculation physical time in the calculation control options window.
But it looks like the time is advancing without any connection to convergence of the flow calculation, so it's not really finishing the calculation for every second
Locate the assembly with an angle dimension.
In Flow use Parametric Study to iterate the angle dimension.
Don't run 360 iterations get creative on how to find the max force with the fewest computation time. May need a step process.
Log force on structure for each iteration.
More than likely the max force will be when the silhouette is at maximum area.
For wind velocity use formula below. If the antenna is small not to bother if large may be useful.
Thank you Mark!
That is a great idea, exactly what I was looking for!
