I made a simpler part to demonstrate the issue I am having. I have a bent piece of sheet metal. I am trying to do an extruded cut, starting with the sketch of a square within a square. I want to leave the center square there while removing the rest. If you look at the preview it looks correct, but when you actually accept the feature it deletes most of the part. Does anyone know why?
