PDM Web Client - Can't see PDFs

Has anyone else seen and fixed this problem? When I find a PDF in PDMWorks web client, I can click on it but when I go to the View tab, I would expect the Acrobat applet to run in the pane (as edrawings does) OR to open a stand-alone Acrobat viewing the PDF. Instead I get a dialogue box with a sheild at the bottom saying that the file is corrupt. I know this to be untrue! It then downloads the PDF and (of course) I can load Acrobat to view it but this is cumbersome and actively encourages people to leave (potentially out of date) PDFs littered over their machines.
