Re: drawing sheet format help
Varun Sharma Oct 2, 2018 5:28 PM (in response to Frederick Law)you go into sheet format/properties/ and change the width of the sheet but the problem is the width only reduces from one end and I cannot re- center the template to be symmetrical.
Is there a way to reduce the width from both ends?

Re: drawing sheet format help
Kevin Chandler Oct 2, 2018 5:47 PM (in response to Varun Sharma)Hello,
Right-click your drawing and select Edit Sheet format:
If the sheet format toolbar isn't displayed, show it and select Automatic Border:
Click the circled right arrow to display this panel and adjust from here:
You must save your sheet format when done, not your drawing template.
Also, thanks to Mr. Schroeder, see this FAQ for more information on sheet formats: What's the difference between a sheet format and drawing template?
I hope this helps.

Re: drawing sheet format help
Varun Sharma Oct 2, 2018 5:53 PM (in response to Kevin Chandler)so I did this and shrunk the size of the sheet margins but after I press ok it has both bolded borders showing and the sheet page itself does not quite shrink. I think i need to read the link you provided that may help.
thank you

Re: drawing sheet format help
Varun Sharma Oct 2, 2018 5:59 PM (in response to Kevin Chandler)because the thing is i already have an existing border and template and all that so this option you describe is just adding another layer to my existing border/margins.
is there a way to shrink the existing one? thank you
