I made a 3D model if a spiral, that resembles a cable of sorts. The goal is to determine how many cables can fit in a spiral formation in my company's machine. I can determine the ID and OD of the spiral formation, but the goal is to determine how many wires can fit in the spiral formation.

Ultimately, I'm trying to write a calculator that has the following parameters:

- What is the OD?

- What is the cable's diameter?

- What is the desired spacing between the cables?

Number of revolutions will be unknown, since it is dependent on the diameters desired. The ID is known however.
