I've done this before by making a block and patterning it. The performance on the part sucked. Can you guys let me know the best way to design a hexagon and pattern it over a profile for an extruded cut? I'm making a sheet metal part that will be stamped (possibly lasered) so the hexagon will be a standard size as well as the spacing. Main concern is just getting the performance of the part/assembly to be good.
