Two questions!

Is there anyway to make this setting 1.0 in the BOM scaling by default, and make the BOM text default text without word wrap?

I am curious if/what benefits there would be to using "excel based bill of material" ?

• To create a BOM at my work, we do the following.
• In the assembly we insert-> Tables-> Bill of Materials
• Then we right click-> save as-> excel 2007 file type then copy/paste this content into our official excel spreadsheet BOM.

We are using 2017 SP4.1
