The following image shows a simplified version of the part on which I am working. The top surface is at an angle as compared to the base surface. Drawn on the top surface is a 2D sketch (pointed to by one of the arrows) and I created a 3D sketch (pointed to by the other arrow) by using Convert Entities->Intersection Curve between a plane (hidden for clarity) and the outer surface of the part. What I would like to do is remove the material between the sketches - essentially a variable chamfer. I tried using a face-to-face chamfer, with the intent of using the sketches as hold lines, but that did not work.
How to you suggest that I create this feature?
Thank you.
