Long time reader, first time...er, question-er? Anyhow, I have a question about Edge Flange use vs. Miter Flange use.
I have a sheet metal part that was created using the Edge Flange feature that is having issues with my gap distance on the final bend as shown below:
Gap distance is .015 for the first two breaks. When I get to the third one in shown in yellow, it won't create the gap using .015. There is interference as shown here:
But when I use the Miter Flange feature, everything comes out nice and clean using the .015 gap, as seen here:
What am I missing that will clean that corner up and still allow me to use the .015 gap distance? Before you ask "Why don't I just delete the Edge Flange and recreate them with the Miter Flange?", there are multiple sheet metal parts that have sketches already dependent on the features I've created. If I could just modify that corner relief somehow while still maintaining that gap distance, my life would be so much easier...and the rest of the group would be happy.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
