I cannot be the first one to frustrated that I cannot easily put a simple colored circle or square on a SW drawing.  I must use the hatch fill, then recolor it. I realize not every one has this need, but I do.  Some of us actually have to use SW for work instructions that require a lot of color. I would rather be doing such things in InDesign, but since my employers don't believe that a document should be made in the appropriate software, I am stuck using Solidworks for things it was not designed for.  It is NOT a drawing program (in the illustrative sense that I am forced to use it). Having said that, I have whipped it into submission to do what I want it to do, but it is really cumbersome to do simple things like adding a graphic arrow, a colored shape etc.   Yes, I'm venting.  But is there ANY hope that SW will have this simple feature in the future?
