I know I'm asking/searching with the wrong question/phrase, and I did stumble across this somewhere - wish I would have bookmarked it, but...

Here's an example of what I'm trying to do.  I want to add a reference point (reference geometry point), in a model (sorry for the obvious), and select it by it's name, and translate/get it's location in the SolidWorks drawing to attach a dimension location to it, something like this:

I saw somewhere, once upon a time, maybe even a sample from the SolidWorks folks, how to do this, but for the life of me I can't find it.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
