I wrote some code that changes the angle in a model using a slider. The issue is that in order to see the arm moving when the slider changes the angle I am calling swModel.EditRebuild3() and it is very slow, the slider freezes and moves very slowly.
private void AngleSlider_ValueChanged(object sender, RoutedPropertyChangedEventArgs<double> e)
double angle = slValue.Value;
// call to move mate
mDimension.SetValue3(angle, (int)swSetValueInConfiguration_e.swSetValue_UseCurrentSetting, "This Configuration");
mModel.EditRebuild3(); // It seems very slow
1. Is there a better way to achieve a jogging mode with the API?
2. I have seen there is also a SOLIDWORKS Add-in for motion that does kinematics but does it allow to do jogging too?
3. If SOLIDWORKS Add-in allows jogging does it use the API for the implementation of the Add-in?
