I'm trying to create a swept Cut, but keep getting "sketch must be fully defined. I've created multiple splines, so I can use them as guides, but always get the same error. What am i missing.
Thanks for your assistance, I've attached the file
Hello Robert,.. is this what you are trying to accomplish? (image/file attached)
..added surface extruded using your 3Dsketch and used it as a tangency control for the sweep to follow.
Here's how to do it:
Turn OFF the setting at Tools>Options>Sketch>Use Fully Defined Sketches
You don't want to fully define splines. It's like herding cats. No, its worse than that. Its a waste of time. When you think you have a spline fully defined, there's always a tangency direction handle that is undefined that will ruin your day.
Seriously, turn that switch off and don't worry about fully defining splines. You'll live longer.
Matt,.. if it were not me,.. someone would have posted this...
it is very beautiful...
Do you have a chance of cowboys.
Try to add X,Y,Z dimensions to all nodes on each spline and also tangent connection between splines.
