Defining a worm wheel with only one helix

I'm trying to define a single worm wheel in a way that does not "repeat itself", i.e. each parameter only in one place.

The samples I've found in e.g. GrabCAD tend to do the next step with two different helixes, one to each direction from the sketch in the middle. Like this:

I wouldn't like that. There must be a better way.

In some sample, I saw a single helix being done that "donutted" around the wheel all the way. But I cannot find that sample any more…

btw. I have no idea why the forum wants to capitalize my Wheel and Place words. If you know where to switch this off, it would be appreciated…
