Nice! I never realized that was a Windows box, not a Solidworks box.
Looking at the memory usage will probably save me from closing and restarting in the future.
Seems there is a way to increase the time for the HungAppTimeout.
A work-around to keep the "program is not responding" dialog box from coming up is to add/change this registry entry:
-Add new DWORD 32-bit value named "HungAppTimeout"
-Double click to modify "HungAppTimeout", select decimal and set it to 30000 (milliseconds)
-Add new DWORD 32-bit value named "WaitToKillAppTimeout"
-Double click to modify "WaitToKillAppTimeout", select decimal and set it to 30000 (milliseconds)
It will still need as much time to respond/finish computing, but you won't be bothered by the dialog boxes anymore.
