I've not seen yellow text, and have never worked with, evidently, driven notes (only titleblocks). Is there a tutorial on this? Any advice or suggestions?
I'm guessing someone manually put the color of the text yellow, like this:
If it really is driven notes, have a look at this:
Using the Note Feature to Combine Drawing Dimensions
Sry. SWX 2017 SP 5.
Does it print that way?
I used to have a graphical issue (in SW 2015) where, when I double clicked (or sometimes even selected) text from driven things inside my drawing (like the BOM), they would turn yellow, even though they were still linked and printed black.
Because everything still worked the way it should except for appearing yellow....I generally ignored it. I did notice that sometimes, when I closed and reopened it, it would go back to black.
This seems to be what happened for most of the notes, but note 9 is obstinate. It prints black, so no harm done. But I'd really like to know what's going on at my new job.
The yellow is probably just an eye reminder that it is a driven note or a note that needs to be edited, I'd leave it like that if it changes nothing on the print.
