      how can I insert foreshortened dimensions in a cut view

          • Right-click on the side of the dimension line you wish to remove and select Hide Dimension Line, then right-click on the remaining extension line and select Hide Extension Line.

          -OR-

          • Depending on the scenario, you can Right-click on a side of the dimension you wish to remove and select Display Options, then Foreshorten.

              This workflow kinda sucks, especially if you're not inserting model items.  Creating the dimension in the first place requires you to change the view type to HLV so you can select the side that's not sectioned, then change back to HLR... It would be nice if you could create doubled dimensions on drawings by clicking a centerline the same way you can create doubled dimensions in a sketch.

              takes a lot of precision mouse work and right clicking.  but you can do it.
