How to make the bottom edge of the angle flat in sheet metal as attached picture?
Good job Abm Masum
As I can see from the picture you shared the bottom flat is an angle profile.
So what you can do is to create that bottom flat as a Structural Member
and after that use the Trim/Extend tool to achieve the same result as per your picture.
Something kind of like this? Gotta admit your photo really leaves me scratching my head. First, why would you not make this out of angle iron using weldments? What are the round things No height many other things.
Actually I don't feel too altrustic my self. Would you care to share your attempt at modeling this? Might help us guide you to make this yourself.
Has me scratching my head also Jim.. Think this is what I see in the pics.
Thanks, but bottom plate should be another flat plate. Another body I mean, welded with angle bar
Ok,, I get it.. this is a flat plate.
Please find the attached file. I did that with weldments. But to make the bottom and top edge flat i have used extrude/ move face option. But in to make accurate cutlist I should not use other feature other than weldments. I am new in sheet metal, I believe there is some option to make that flat. Can you help me?
Right Thanks. If I do this the cutlist will update automatically?
It should be.
