Is this hardware limitation or can it be fixed?
Shadows are cast if I put a light (all directional) from within some vessel. In that case shadows are cast everywhere.
Is there a solution for this? Turning off environment shadows helps a bit, but I don't think this is a solution.
This is a bit logical if the light was actually visible, so everything else would get darker, but if it's not visible it's illogical to have all the shadows.
Hi Damir,
I've done a small test in my Visualize 2018 SP3 version. I created a scene containing a vessel and some objects around it. I've put an all directional light inside the vessel. However in my test, there is no leaking of light at all, nor are any shadows cast because of the light.
Did you, by accident, use a transparant material or a subsurface material. In that case, in my test, shadows are cast everywhere.
If you'd like you can send me a part of your scene and I'll have a look at your model.
Best regards,
Marcel
