I am trying to setup my title block for terminal block drawings and was wondering how I could automatically generate the schematic number and description from the original schematic. Essentially referencing where they should look for the overview. To further clarify my terminal block schematic number is 06 and I want to reference the AC distribution schematic 02. I have looked at the attributes available but I'm not sure if any of those do this.
Thank you,
Dayton
I get it now.
Thanks for the updated info.
I would doubt that there is a way to show that via attribute, mainly because terminal block objects can span multiple pages.
In the graphical representation there is an attribute that you can apply to the header symbol called #CROSSREFx_0 but that doesn't seem to populate.
We use the grid style configurations for our terminal blocks (which is currently completely broken in 2018 SP4) but there is more flexibility in that style.
It can show the Function + Location of the entire TB and then the cross reference for each TB slice itself. (ie PageNum:RowColumn)
Again not exactly what you are looking for but would get you closer. But as I said be careful moving to that if you are using 2018 because it is completely broken related to showing the origin and destination of each slice.
But maybe some one else here knows something that I don't. Hopefully they can chime in.
