Hello, I am considering to buy a Lenovo/Thinkpad touch screen laptop. How useful it is to use the touch screen with the TouchMode? Does it work well?
I have an HP Spectre https://michaellord.me/2017/04/03/solidworks-on-a-hp-spectre-x360-solidworks/

Yes touch works for sketching but to be honest it is just as quick and far more accurate to use a mouse.
The best use of touch is selecting (features, icons), panning and zooming.

The new for SOLIDWORKS 2019 (I think I can mention as it was shown at SWW18) is freehand mark up.
I think the real benefit of touch for SOLIDWORKS is that of a Design review tool
Thank you Michael. So, it will take awhile for something like the CAD system that Iron Man is using to become a reality.

Just upgraded my laptop to touch screen.
It was good.
Took it to the weld shop and I could rotate, pan and zoom with touch. Much easier than using touch pad and don't need to carry the 3D mouse.
Default icons and text are small on the 12" 1080 screen. Still trying different scale setting.
