Having difficulty finding the Move/Copy Bodies command so I can add to my features tool bar. Anyone point me in the right direction?
Duh... right there in plain sight..... Thank you.
No problem....happens to me all the time.
This happened to me recently:
My wife asked me to go into the hair products drawer (the drawer where she keeps all the brushes and hair ties and what not... A place I NEVER go unless prompted) and get the cylindrical hair brush.
I opened the drawer....dug around for a minute or so and then told her that it wasn't in that drawer (Yes...I really couldn't find it!).
She looked at my 10 year old son and asked him to go get it from the drawer. (I watched him do this). He walked over to the drawer, opened it, reach in and pulled out the brush in less than 2 seconds. Gave me a "duh!" look and handed it to my wife.
Been there, done that. I've had tools that apparently became invisible and hide on me as well, look around the garage for a while and then go back to where I thought it was and they magically become visible again.
This might help you in the future for other commands. You can use the command search in the top right of the SolidWorks interface to search for any command, then drag and drop it onto a toolbar straight from here:
Thank you for bringing up that feature. Another one of those things where it was buried in the back of my brain somewhere. I've been and AutoCad 2D drawer for some 35 plus years which is still good for most of what we do. Talk about challenging, 286 computers with co-processors and a lot of wait time to make it work.
Got into Solidworks about a year and a half ago on the insistence of some of our larger clients. Trying to learn and and still make a living at the same time. Been doing a lot tutorials that I've found on You Tube that have really increased the learning pace, but have brought on some some other challenges at the same time.
Thanks for post up that suggestion/reminder.
