Do I have to create a single symbol?
Create circuit breaker as Base and auxiliary contact as auxiliary?
Yes, you can use a separate symbol and place anywhere, just associate to the circuit breaker component when you place it. Your flow could go something like this:
1) Insert the base circuit breaker symbol, assign the part.
2) Add the auxiliary contact part to the component as well
3) Place the symbol for the contact, associate to the developed component.
I would not do it as all one symbol; I haven't actually even tested using multiple part numbers to populate data into one single symbol. When you have it set up as multiple symbols, it gives you much better flexibility to draw your schematics. The main contacts of the breaker for us will be on a power drawing page, and the auxiliary contacts on a signal page for the i/o.
