suppressed roll forward of the save body command

Scenario: In a part I have a save body command, which I have rolled back in the feature manager. I've made a new revision of the part and now want to delete the save body command without affecting the original saved bodies. However I have to roll forward the feature manager to be able to select and delete the save body command, which will cause the save body command to execute, which will overwrite the files of the original saved bodies.

Question: Can I somehow roll forward the save body command without having it execute a save? Or can I delete or make edits to a command while it is still rolled back in the feature manager.

Of course a way around this might be to make copies of all the files of the saved bodies, roll the save body command forward, delete the command, delete the new files of the saved bodies, and then copy the original save body files back into the directory. I am hoping there is a more elegant solution than this though...
