Question asked by Benjamin Rozmus on Aug 1, 2018

We currently purchased a PLANAR which is able to scan a flat sheet metal part and verify the part's geometry similar to a CMM but much faster. Also, if I am able to have the flat pattern in one layer and the locations of the part in another, programming is automatic. I want to be able to export Solidworks data to show the flat pattern in one layer and the dimensions/locations of the holes in another layer. I've read other threads on DXF and layers and nothing has worked. The part imports but the dimensions are my bearcat. Any advice?
