Did you check if you have all the System Requirements to install it?
SOLIDWORKS | Hardware & System Requirements | SOLIDWORKS
Looks like something wrong with you serial number. It failed at "Checking Entitlement".
I don’t know where to check if it’s correct. The download worked so I figured that wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t right.
You upgrading from old version?
Double check serial number with whoever sell you Solidworks.
Contact them for solution.
When the Installation Manager launches, choose "Administrative Image" and reinstall SW from Administrative Image.
Where do I go to do that? what do I click to restart the installation? It gives no other options
You have nothing to loose. Uninstall SW and reinstall it but from Administrative Image.
Hi Alyssa ,
Can you attach installation log?
Also, I will suggest you, install higher service pack of 2017 which is SP 5.0, If you are in AMC.
I just don’t see any options on what to do next exactly. By hitting Next will it take me to where I can re-install do you think? I should have enough space because it suggested that I have atleast 20 GB free for installation and I’ve got over 100.
Where do I go to do that exactly? This screen doesn’t give any options as to what to do next or how to retry the installation.
A lot going on there. Best call your VAR, they will be happy to walk you through the installation.
I am agree with you.
I’m sorry I’m new to the technical talk here. What does VAR mean? And if I hit Next will tat take me to what steps I need to follow to re-try the installation?
