My question is maybe more as suggestion/thought inquiry than actual question.
I am often working with aluminum/steel profiles. In my case - it is not suitable to work as structural membrane for various reasons.
Its quite handy to have those (not standard) profiles as different configurations. But as I use few profile configurations in assembly, almost every single of them are different length. I do not want to add length as separate configuration or derived configuration as I would need to have few thousands of them (0..6000mm).
At the moment I am importing config from library, then saving as independent component, then changing profile length and the end I have to tweak manually names/descriptions.. But I am sure its super incorrect path of work with such vast program as SW.
What would be faster and healthier way to deal with that 1 floating dimension?
