I made an exploded assembly view and put it on a drawing. I didn't save the exact exploded assembly view but have the original assembly. I want to edit the exploded assembly view, but don't know how to reopen the view. Is there a way to open the view or do I have to remake the exploded assembly?
OK, when you say you didn't "save" the exploded view.....do you mean that you didn't save 1) the actual view orientation or 2) the exploded configuration?
To get the same view orientation that is in the drawing:
RMB in the view (not on the geometry) and select "Open Assembly in Position"
This will open the assembly in that view orientation.
Then you can hit Spacebar and select "New View" to create a new view to go back to whenever you need to.
If, however, you didn't save the exploded configuration....then your drawing is probably out of date and you will either have to go back to a previous version, or remake the configuration.
I am guessing it is #1
Go to configuration manager. Go to the configuration that has a arrow by it. Under that should be "explview1" right click and explode or edit
Thank you all!
