Re: "tooltip" text in .svg
Derek Parks Jul 16, 2018 3:14 PM (in response to Steve Krause)Could you attach a screen shot of what you see once it is imported into CorelDraw? It may make it easier for us to help you figure out a solution.

Re: "tooltip" text in .svg
Derek Parks Jul 17, 2018 11:19 AM (in response to Steve Krause)Well that is honestly a first for me. You could try and uncheck your collaboration selection before exporting your technical illustration....although this may remove your installation lines also.

Re: "tooltip" text in .svg
Steve Krause Jul 17, 2018 4:30 PM (in response to Derek Parks)I did some experimenting.
checking any of these boxes puts the "tooltip" text in the upper left corner of the .svg output.
I have no idea what Hotspots are or why I'd use them but if I make sure those selections are not checked the "tooltip" text is not in the .svg. Also, I don't remember ever selecting to turn them on.

Re: "tooltip" text in .svg
Steve Krause Jul 18, 2018 1:08 PM (in response to Derek Parks)I just checked to see if turning back on the three selections under hot spots and then turning off Show Colaboration gets rid of "tooltip". It doesn't get rid of it as long as the Hotspots settings are selected. I think it has something to do with hotspots, whatever that is.
I wonder what the text tooltip is from?
At this point it is just a curiosity and not really a problem.

Re: "tooltip" text in .svg
Derek Parks Jul 18, 2018 3:43 PM (in response to Steve Krause)Hotspots allow you to link to different views, weblinks, etc. This only works if you export and use Composer Player though as far as I am aware. I really only use Composer for creating technical images imported into Indesign for manuals, training guides, etc. I neve use player since most people wont want to download a software just to view a file in my experience.

Heiko Sohnholz Jul 30, 2018 3:48 AM (in response to Steve Krause)Hello,
hotspots are very useful when publishing (and viewing) SVG in your internet browser. They work as an hyperlink and will allow you to navigate through you assembly and sub-assemblies. SVG was developed especially for the use in todays internet-browsers.
See the yellow hotspot (hyperlink) in the internet explorer:
