Solidworks reseller cannot find cause
Calculator on sketch level (in dimensions) doesn't work either
do you have your add inns for tool box turned on?
can you load the assembly light weight?
Yes I did.And I cannot open in lightweight.Tried already. My reseller did send the Rx log file to SW but after 3 days I didn't get an answer yet.
On monday I will compare with another computer to see if perhaps some files zre missing.
The file locations for the tool box are they pointing to the correct location for the new install? if you have a computer that is working with the files you can run the copy setting wizard and get all the settings corrected.
I checked the right location.Everything is in place.Very weird...

Can you start a new Assy. and add Toolbox Parts?
When I open a new assembly I can insert an toolbox part but just as the toolbox part appears on the screen, SW crashes
Problem is finally solved. Our IT wizard cloned the new computer P71 from a perfectly working P70 (copied all files). This seemed to be the only alternative left. The cause of the problem with Solid Works 2018 SP3 working on the P71 was never found, not by Solid Works nor the IT.
Alternatively you could have repair Solidworks installation.
2018 SOLIDWORKS Help - Repairing an Installation
When prompt which product to repair (step 4), keep Solidworks checked and uncheck everything else (unless you have problem with other packages as well). This 'should' solve the problem, I know it solved mine.
Thx. Will keep it in mind.I tried repair several times but with everything checked.
