I update the question. Could you please confirm that I did it correctly?
Thank you,
Joseph

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Rob Edwards Jul 12, 2018 6:26 PM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)haha! You've changed the question!
I honestly don't know sorry Joseph. I just told you how to do different profiles.
I've never done any tests, so I can't help really

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Joseph Sarhadian Jul 12, 2018 6:35 PM (in response to Rob Edwards)I'm actually using three different profiles in the attached file. It's the same question. Lol
I'm not sure if this is how needs to be done.

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Rob Edwards Jul 12, 2018 6:44 PM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)I'm sorry I don't feel qualified to reassure you it's correct as I have no experience of official exams - I'm self taught and I know I do things a bit odd sometimes. It's too important for you for me to just guess. Matt says it looks good and I would trust his judgement, as he's gone home hopefully someone else will chip in

Matt Peneguy Jul 12, 2018 6:32 PM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)Joseph,
Good job! It "looks" correct to me. However, I'm about out the door and headed home. So, I didn't look into it too thoroughly.

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Kevin Chandler Jul 12, 2018 7:15 PM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)It's not kosher to post exam questions.
You even agreed not to do so.
Kevin

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Matt Peneguy Jul 13, 2018 8:30 AM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)Thank you for removing the question. I wondered where that came from.
Back to your model... Since I don't know what they are looking for, I can't answer your question conclusively. But, how you modeled it is almost exactly how I'd model it, if that helps. But, I'm not as good as Rob Edwards or Kevin Chandler. I don't know if it is kosher to send that model off to your VAR. But if it is, I'm sure they've got someone there with their CSWP in Weldments and would know what they are looking for.

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Joseph Sarhadian Jul 13, 2018 1:22 PM (in response to Matt Peneguy)Unfortunately, the only source that I have found so far is YouTube videos. I haven't found any books online teaching Weldments or Sheet Metal technics. I guess the only way is to take the test and see if my answers are correct.
Thank you,
Joseph

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Matt Peneguy Jul 13, 2018 1:38 PM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)Yeah, I think the mysolidworks tutorials for weldments are premium content. But you may be able to get the ecourse for free (limited time offer):
They are offering some free until September 21:

Joseph Sarhadian Jul 17, 2018 4:17 PM (in response to Matt Peneguy)Thank you Matt. This is helpful for Flow Simulation that I need to learn.
I actually took the test yesterday and I passed it.

Re: SolidWorks Weldments using two different profiles in one sketch
Matt Peneguy Jul 17, 2018 4:27 PM (in response to Joseph Sarhadian)That's great news! If I get some time I'd really like to take advantage of those ecourses and get a CSWP certification, too. And, I'd probably go for Weldments. Any suggestions?
