Hi - I have a system which crashed whilst running SoliWorks, I replaced a faulty graphics card and now the PC is OK once more.
Now when running SolidWorks (2014), it asks for a license, but the solidNetWork License manager says it has already issued licences to that user/PC.
So I want to return all borrowed licenses - Using the SolidNetWork License manager (working on the server) The 'License Usage' tab shows what licenses have been issued to who OK, but the 'License Borrowing' tab does not show anything in the 'Borrowed Product Licenses' window, so I cannot return them.
I tried using the LMUTIL to return the 3 licenses that he needs using the lmutil lmremove tool for solidworks, swofficepremium & swofficepro...
I made a batch file like the one below for each of the license types that I wanted to return.
cd C:\Program Files (x86)\SolidWorks Corp\SolidNetWork License Manager\utils
lmutil lmremove -c "C:\Program Files (x86)\SolidWorks Corp\SolidNetWork License Manager\licenses\sw_d.lic" solidworks BSmith GHL193 GHL193
This does not return any error - but the licenses are not returned either!
Am I not pointing to the correct location for the licences?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go from here?
