Can I display the "connection points" on components but not print them? I still want to see connection dots on wires.

Hi Evan,
I don't want to do that every time I print, but you did provide me with a solution to my problem! My other option was to see if I could make the dot smaller, which I am able to do in that Graphics screen. Before the dot was .02 so pretty big on the drawing. I changed it to .01 and now I can see it to make my wire connection but it's not visible on the print.
Thanks!
I agree you shouldn't have to change this every time you need to print or export. Solidworks should put it on a layer.
Another solution is to set each symbol drawing element be on a separate layer when setting up symbols so you can control the print settings. To hide connection dots, just make sure you set the current layer to EW_NOT_PRINT before setting up connection points in a symbol and changing the current layer back to 0 for all other drawing elements. Keep in mind this will require changing PIN numbers text to be on a printable layer to make sure it displays properly.
I'm curious if this is an option... You can set the visibility of the connection dots so that once there is a wire connected it will 'remove' itself from display. This is not helpful if you will have connections that are not wired but that might actually be a good thing as it is a graphical method to show when there is a not connected terminal.
Project>Configuration>Graphics, I hit the drop down to "never" when I want to print, otherwise I use one of the other options to show them when I'm doing a drawing, that's how I handle it.
