After creating a cut-list, How am I supposed to know about the year? I looked at properties of the cut-list and didn't find anything mentioned about 2008 or 2009.
Go to help then click about, that will give you the year of the release of the software you are using.
But the question is asking about Cut-List folders. Somewhere I supposed to see how many Cut-List folders I have Under the year of 2009 and 2010.
I also attached the CAD file.
lt looks to me like this is a homework or test question, and the answer will vary by one depending on which version of SolidWorks is being used. Since you're using the student edition I assume it's a later version than 2009, which means you need to solve the problem and select the answer that corresponds to version 2010 or later (the bottom selection in each of the possible answers). So the correct answer is either 7, 8, 9, or 10 (not 6, 7, 8, or 9, which it would be if you were using SW 2009)..
I'm using SolidWorks 2017-2018 student version. I already made my Cut-List. But I don't see anywhere mentioning 2009 Cut-List folder, and all the answer choices have the year 2009. So I don't really know which one is the correct answer.
If I understand the question correctly, it's asking you to expand Cut list at the top of the tree, count the different body types, and select the correct answer that corresponds to your SW version (which is SW2010 or later). So if you think the correct answer is 7 you'd select the option at lower right.
I don't know how to make it any plainer without giving you the answer.
I guess I'm confused on counting the Cut-List Folder.
I see 9 Cut-List-Item. How do you count them as 7 Cut-List Folder?
