Hello,

I'm very new to SolidWorks and this is also my first post within the forum.

I have imported a Step file sent to me by a supplier. The file is currently a Part made up of 19 solid bodies. I now need to make an exploded view of this part, from what I understand, this can only be done if all the items that make the whole are separate parts themselves.

Is there are way of converting solid bodies to parts? Or, what are my other options?
