So in my pursuit of representing a guy line comprised of a straight section with a bowline knot at each end, I had thought to achieve a perfectly straight segment at bowline's end by adding a straight line to one end. I had been thinking to sweep the whole in one go. In Rhino how I'd do this is by simply clicking both the spline and the line, then selecting join ... and viola, the two are now one for a sweep. I fail to locate a similar feature in Solidworks. If I simply add a line to the end of the spline then try to sweep, it will not allow I do both. I must do them separately instead. It makes for an extra unsightly seam, which I'd rather like to avoid.
