Regardless of whether the symbol is placed in the weld callout in the model or in the drawing, it eventual disappears. To be clear the weld callout stays, but the all around circle disappears.
Background:
This happens in SW2017 standard/pro, SP5 and SW2018 SP3 standard/pro. (we just upgraded). fresh installs, not upgrade installs.
I'm using the "Weld Bead" feature in the model/assembly to generate the aesthetic bead and the callout.
I've checked to make sure that my symbol library folder is correct per the year of SolidWorks
I've spent hours with my VAR on the phone and remotely driving my computer to try and figure it out to no avail. We ran things as administrators, did a full reinstall, he changed/deleted registry items....etc.
GPU driver is up to date and Dell 7810 with Quadro M4000 driver is 375.63. Windows 10
It is incredibly repeatable whether we are saving a large assembly to our network, or saving a part file to my local drive.
I've toggled show/hide annotations back and forth... once its gone, its gone.
It doesn't seem to make any difference whether the weld callout is generated in the model or drawing, it disappears from both usually after a save or two, and sometime with just a rebuild.
Were a very small company, and I'm pretty new to handling the administrative side of things. This could very well be my fault, but neither my VAR or I can figure it out.
I'm terribly frustrated, one of our assemblies might have 15-20 all around symbols in it.
