As the header states.
Hid a body in a drawing view.
how do I show it again?
thanks in advance
Right click the view itself (not the model) and go to the Hidden Items tab. You should be able to unhide it there.
Find it in the feature manager tree under the drawing view and right click and select show.
that was my first thought.
except there is no "bodies" folder shown under that drawing view.
and the only option i get when right clicking the feature is to show its hidden edges.
view was created as follows:
1. clicked "model view"
2. selected the part containing the 2 bodies i want shown in this view.
3. clicked "select bodies"
4. selected the 2 bodies i want included in the drawing view.
5. clicked green checkmark
6. placed view into drawing.
There it is!!!!!
Thank you Jeremy
I'm glad you got it figured out, but I wanted to suggest that in the future if you want to hide a body or bodies you use a different workflow. Instead of hiding bodies from the drawing view, if you'll use the "Select Bodies" button in the Property Manager to select which bodies to show (and you can select with a click-and-drag box to speed it up if there are quite a few), then you can always click on that button again to edit the selection.
Very good info Glen, I will definitely use that method going forward, much smoother
