For future reference try creating a post subject that is short and to the point. Then add a long description to the body of the post. The way you have it the subject is long yet unspecific. Then the body is a copy/paste of the subject. So, we end up with a question that does not really have enough information to provide a good answer.
Hope you have found a solution already, but if not I have some questions for you from your post are:
- How are you creating the assemblies in SWPDM?
- How are you trying to create an assembly in SolidWorks that doesn't work?
- What are you expecting the assembly to have that the blank one doesn't have when it opens?
- Are you using SWPDM templates, serial numbers, dispatches or anything else to help create the new assemblies?
