Paper is cheap. Print it, and get out your calipers and check it.
The variable that set them are in the settings of the document:
As long as you scale the paper not the geometry the size is going to be the as printed size 1:1. if you print a D-size on a 11 x 17 it will be half not sure if this helps or confuses but you get the general idea
Another way if you have Autocad or Draftsight you can saveas a DWG/DXF at 1:1 and then you will be able to measure the dimension segments ( Note: you may have to explode them before you can dimension them)
