It works on my end. It must be something else you are not mentioning. Is it the same file you are opening in 2018?
Yes It Is the same file, when I run my macro this Is the result in the custom property in solidworks 2018 servive pack 3
This Is how It worked on solidworks 2017
I have even tried to change the value / text expession in the macro from
"Area@Default@part.SLDPRT" to "Area@PR-1122-74-30 bit.SLDPRT" but get the same wrong result
Could you attache your part and the macro?
I found out the problem.
For Solidworks 2018 I edit the macro so that the equations was created first before the property's, which wasn't a problem In Solidworks 2017.
