Moving .msg files to PDM vaults is proving .. quite frustrating for our employees because of the time it takes.
At first I believed our addins were at fault :

• C# addin that fetches smtp variables if the emails are sent from an exchange server. Otherwise usernames would be used as sender
• Dispatch addin that renames the file with a serial number.

So, I removed these addins from the test vault, restarted the explorer process and tried again. Even tried deleting the data card so the values would not populate.

Do you experience the same delay, is this normal operation? Do you have any recommendations on steps to take?
The variables of .msg files are mapped like this : 2016 SOLIDWORKS PDM Help - Variable Mapping - Outlook MSG Files (For SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional only)

We are running PDM Professional 2018,  SP2.

Here is a example gif I made, just moving 5 emails from Outlook took 45 seconds.
