I have a part where a counterbore intersects a corner fillet in a step on the part. When I create the counterbore using the hole wizard on the surface of the part, the portion of the counterbore that should cut into the curved face of the fillet shows as a sharp edge. It does the same for regular holes. The Hole Wizard feature will not make the cut above the sketch plane and there is no option for "Though All - Both" in the hole wizard
The only way I've been able to clean up the hole wizard feature is by creating another Extruded Cut feature, making a circle in the sketch coradial with the top edge of the counterbore, and extruding up to the next surface.
Is there a way to get the Hole Wizard to natively remove the material above the sketch plane?
It would be so much easier if there was a "Through All - Both" option in the hole wizard. My goal is to minimize the steps to document the counterbore on the drawing, and inserting a hole note is an easy way to standardize detailing...
Thanks!
