create pdf files in vault

can someone tell me how to setup the pdmworks vault to save pdf's with the normal check in? i have the option checked to do so inside pdmwadmin, however it isn't happening. if i right click on a drawing that i checked in with that option checked in pdmwadmin, there is no option to view as a pdf. any help is appreciated

be sure that the option was switched on prior to checking in any documents. Our vault has drawings both with and without the option to view as PDF since some users didn't have this option enables prior to checking in their work. Test it by turning the option on then checking out and then in some of your work.

  This option needs to be turned on through the vaultadmin program, option is on the first page last option of global settings.

thank you for the replies, i do have it checked. i set it to save pdf via the vault admin program, rebooted the server, checked in a couple different drawings, and i still can not see any pdf's. haven't seen it say that it is saving the drawing as pdf while it's being checked in. any other idea's?

  You will not see the pdf's in the "tree". If you right-click on the drawing item, you should get a dialog asking "view doc as pdf".

  it now appears to be working. looks like it just needed some time to accept the settings. we now see the option to view the drawings as pdf's on ones we check in now. thanks for your replies
