How did you get the tank modeled? Did you use the shell tool? Just remove some material before the shell and thee you have it.

hi i draw the sketch first and then i use revolved feature..
Attach your *.sldprt file here and end all doubt.
Loft cut and fillet the edges?
So, after the revolve are you removing the material from the inside via the 'Shell' feature? If so, remove that little section of material before the shell.

On a standard plane make a cut --> mid plane, add fillets, circular pattern

Looks like a dimple to me - if it's the case, you need to use form tool for dimple die
I would recommend the indent feature. Create a tool body and then cut via indent...
He asked how to get the shape, I gave him a start
I would recommend just removing the material like Peter Kennedy has above and pattern it. Much simpler...

some metal shops use the name "dimple" as I ref. a custom tool (whatever name) for this

The model looks like a sheet metal part to me so using forming tool should be a right approach
I guess I saw it as plastic. Oh well...

a loft feature seams lot of effort for such a simple shape.
1 loft feature = 2 planes + 2 sketches Vs 1 Cut feature (revolve or extrude) = 1 sketch
Yes, without seeing the model, it's just a guess !

OK, are you understanding what I'm trying to explain to you then? It isn't all that hard to do it.

how to remove it in rectangle, can you please explain as i m just a beginner to solidworks.
if it's plastic then it should be started as solid, remove material and shell it so the tank can have a constant thickness

1-Plane face
2-Curved
5°degree inside and curved...try to use all the tool....and do able all as you need
