We are having an issue with the solver using a 10mm mesh. We are getting this error: "The Iterative Solver stopped.\File error. Hard disk may be full." Hard drive is not full. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
The only times I have seen this error is when the hard disk where the results write to is full. Where do you store/access your CAD files from when you run this study? Are the results folder also saving to that location (did you specifically point them to another drive or folder path)? How much disc space does that drive have?
We are storing files on local drive that has 126 GB of free space.
Here is a screen shot of the FEA details. Do you see anything strange?
You have a fairly fine mesh applied to this model. Does the study run with large mesh elements applied to it? Have you attempted to run the solver for this on any other machines than this one?
The issue may relate to just have a general write access issue. You may want to try going into the study 'Properties' and setting the 'Results Folder' to "C:\Temp" and run it again.
Another customer recently reported in this thread that pending Windows updates on the system could also cause this behavior.
